As the first Product Marketing strategist at Clutch, you'll be a key player in building and shaping marketing at Clutch from the ground up with a strong focus on GTM enablement. With rapid growth - doubling year-over-year - and customers who love the product, we are at an inflection point. Your insights will refine our product packaging, positioning, and messaging as we prepare to expand our offerings from 2 to 4 products within the next few months. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for innovation and impact.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Overhaul our buyer persona, messaging, and content strategies. Define and articulate the voice of the customer, crafting messaging that resonates on both emotional and logical levels. Develop and tailor content that supports various stages of the sales cycle.
  • Product Positioning: As we grow our product line, you will spearhead the definition, packaging, and positioning of our expanded offerings, addressing increasing complexity and seizing market opportunities. Write compelling positioning and messaging that clearly articulate the value and unique advantages of our offerings while maintaining the right level of executive and operator-level depth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the pivotal link among Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams, ensuring alignment and optimizing the feedback loop. Plan and execute effective product launches for existing and new products.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4-5 years of experience working as a Product Marketing Manager
  • Creative Vision and Strategic Mindset: Your ability to blend high creativity with a methodical approach will be crucial. You should have a knack for storytelling and a structured methodology to address complex challenges, evaluate impacts, and pivot strategies as needed.
  • Strong communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create and deliver customer-facing resources that can be used by sales and customer success teams
  • Deep Understanding of Enterprise Sales: You’re well-versed in the nuances of a complex sales cycle that touches on People, Process, and Technology. Your experience with value-based sales methodologies will be invaluable as you dissect business challenges and inspire stakeholders with a compelling future vision.
  • Expert Stakeholder Management: Excel in managing multiple stakeholders across different functions. Your ability to maintain strong relationships, manage expectations, and synchronize efforts between Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams will be key to our integrated go-to-market strategy.
  • Startup Agility: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a startup hustle and bias for action. Your passion for category creation and driving innovation in fintech will fuel our journey.
  • 4+ years of work experience at B2B SaaS startups and/or larger companies on an innovation team experience in the Credit Union space is nice to have;
