Senior Product Manager
Permanent | Full Time | Sydney-based | 50% office attendance

Drive the go-to market strategy for Australia’s best banking app.

We’re looking for a strategic, customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new digital features in the CommBank app. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape how we launch, position, and scale digital experiences that make everyday banking simpler, smarter, and more human.

You’ll be part of the Customer, Digital and AI Domain within Retail Banking Services (RBS) – the team behind the CommBank app and NetBank, serving over 9million digitally active customers.

You will report into the Executive Manager, GTM in the Digital Experiences Centre of Excellence who will support you with your development and performance and day-to-day work to ensure alignment across strategy, execution, and key results.

Your impact

As a senior Product Manager – GTM, you will:

  • Lead GTM strategy and execution for new digital feature launches, ensuring alignment across Product, Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Frontline.
  • Define compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Champion the voice of the customer, integrating insights from NPS, feedback, complaints and call volumes into GTM planning and product development and report on the impact of breakpoint fixes as evidenced by feedback in VOC channels..
  • Monitor and report on GTM performance, including adoption, engagement, NPS, conversion, and rollout precision (accuracy against launch plans).
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform positioning, differentiation, and strategic planning.
  • Align OCM and frontline teams with GTM plans, ensuring clarity on customer segmentation, journey mapping, and market context.
  • Drive thought leadership to elevate our market presence, including pursuit of industry accolades and platforms to raise awareness of our innovations in banking
  • Lead post-launch reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise future launches

We’re interested in hearing from a digital product professional with relevant skills and experience, including:

  • 10+ years’ experience in GTM, product marketing, digital product management, or strategy roles
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced agile environments
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with experience in customer segmentation, journey mapping, and value proposition design
  • Deep understanding of digital product lifecycles and how to connect customer needs with business outcomes
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar tools to translate data into actionable insights
  • Commercial acumen, with proven experience in linking broad digital interactions with strong business benefits
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Experience with agentic AI technologies and/or retail banking products is highly desirable
