Your mission is to lead the core engine that powers Incredibuild’s acceleration across Linux and Windows. As Product Manager for Core Acceleration, you will own the foundational component that enables our product ecosystem. This is a highly technical, high-impact role for a PM who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap: You will own the strategic roadmap for the core product.
- Manage stakeholders: Act as the primary product partner for our Cloud PMs. You will intake their requests, understand their needs, and prioritize them against your own roadmap initiatives.
- Define technical requirements: Work hand-in-hand with engineering to translate complex needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize ruthlessly: You will be the single point of contact for your R&D teams, making the hard trade-off decisions between new features, performance improvements, and technical debt.
- Measure performance: Define and own the KPIs. You will live in the benchmarks and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve the enterprise: Meet customers and prioritize, together with the rest of the product team, the unique needs of our customers.
- Technical PM: You have 3+ years of product management experience, ideally working on deeply technical, Devops-focused products. You are not afraid of compilers, build systems and DevTools.
- Linux expert: You have a strong understanding of the Linux development ecosystem.
- Data-driven: You believe in metrics and objective data to measure success and make decisions.
- Pragmatic & focused: You know how to scope an MVP for a technical feature and can effectively manage the lifecycle of a core technology platform.
- Background as a software engineer or developer - Advantage.
- Experience with C++, AOSP, or large-scale build systems is a massive plus.
