Position Overview
As a Senior Product Manager within Beyond Sports, you will act as the strategic right-hand to our Head of Pillar(s), turning Beyond Sports’ business strategy into world-class products at scale. While the Head of Pillar(s) champions the overarching destination and why, you translate that ambition into reality by shaping the product strategy, orchestrating delivery, and owning outcomes end-to-end.
By bridging the gap between high-level innovation and technical delivery, you’ll fundamentally influence the direction of B2B2C products that engage millions worldwide. You will take the broad strategic pillars defined by leadership and break them down into actionable user needs, technical constraints, and business requirements, ensuring every solution exceeds the highest standards in the sports industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Stakeholder Management: Form strong, trusted relationships with client-side stakeholders, demonstrating acute knowledge of the sport, the fan, and the business.
Execute the Vision: Working with the Head of Pillar, you’ll translate a long-term strategic vision into a concrete, phased roadmap. You’ll refine early concepts into tangible products & features that align with the Pillar’s and clients’ global objectives.
Build the Execution Engine: You’ll demonstrate the power of product management by acting as the bridge between the Head of Pillar(s), our clients and the internal delivery squads. You’ll translate high-level goals of the Pillars and clients into requirements for internal teams to build on.
Validate the Strategy with Data:. By working with our Data Insights and Research teams, you’ll leverage data-driven insights and help validate strategic bets, ensuring every roadmap decision is backed by user research and market analysis.
Empower the Team: You’ll act as a mentor to other members of the product or delivery team.
Key Skills Required
Stakeholder Management: Proven experience influencing and informing senior client stakeholders, steering product direction by translating market trends, client and fan feedback, internal product strategy and user data into strategic recommendations.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and shape a product roadmap that meets our business and the client's objectives by leveraging analytics, research, and business context.
Managed Complex Product Ecosystems: 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, shaping data-rich, fan-facing products operating across interconnected platforms, third-party services, and distributed delivery teams.
Storytelling and Influence: Experience of influencing clients and senior stakeholders, crafting compelling narratives to bring them on the product journey.
Prioritisation & Trade-off Management: A deep understanding of how to manage the interplay between the Head of Pillar's and client business requirements, business, client and user value, technical feasibility, and user experience.
Leadership & Collaboration: You know how to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority and are highly experienced in collaborating with engineering and designers to create world-class products with huge impact.
