👋 Hey, I’m Skyler - CTO and product leader at Dwolla. I’m looking for a Senior Product Manager with deep product management expertise and a passion for creating incredible payment products to join our small but mighty team.

Here is what you can expect to work on in this critical role:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to disrupt the payments landscape working on groundbreaking products like Dwolla Connect and Open Banking Services. You’ll spearhead product strategy, drive the roadmap, and collaborate across teams to deliver a solution with the potential to disrupt the payments landscape. We’re building this product from the ground up and you’ll have the opportunity to craft the vision and strategy for the product and see ideas through from inception to launch. You’ll work side-by-side with talented engineers, sales, and marketing experts to create innovative payment solutions that increase usage and drive Dwolla’s growth.

You’ll build strong partnerships with your peers and stakeholders (both internal and external) through transparent communication, feature impact, and setting realistic delivery expectations. In addition, you’ll establish and maintain a prioritized Product Backlog of refined user stories that are clear to the team.

How you’ll spend your time: 65% of your time will be spent on cross-functional stakeholder management activities and customer interactions – you’re the director of this product orchestra! The remaining 35% of your time will be spent hands-on with the dev team providing direction and feedback on the solutions they’re building.

Our team values organization, tenacity and continuous improvement mindset.

Qualities of Senior Product Managers Who Thrive in This Role

🚀 You have an entrepreneurial mindset to build solutions that foster customer growth.

🤝 You enjoy working with cross-functional teams (specifically being in lockstep with our engineering team) in a collaborative and inclusive environment and regularly engaging with our clients (perhaps you’re even a bit obsessive about voice of customer 😉).

🗣️ You have strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal, facilitation and presentation… this role does it all!)

🏆 You thrive in an environment of autonomy, taking action, and delivering results.
