Senior Product Manager

As a Senior Product Manager you will own and develop Forward's platform and partner with teams across the company to help drive innovation and product strategy. You will work closely with our DevOps and Platform Engineers to coordinate, plan, and prioritize improvements to Forward’s infrastructure, software, local development environments, and integrations.

In this role you will:
- Develop and drive the product strategy, vision, and technical roadmap to support stakeholders.
- Coordinate with design teams to produce prototypes, work with engineering and project management to execute strategic ideas, and partner with technical stakeholders across the organization to implement impactful changes.
- Define and leverage metrics to identify and prioritize work.
- Drive product development efforts to make engineers, designers and cross functional teams more effective.
- Act as a primary point of contact when developing products or functionality that require technical research and articulating findings to a non-technical audience. This can involve working with APIs, integrating with channel partners, configuring salesforce to be effective for internal teams, etc.
- Experience making buy vs build decisions and comfortable with evaluating vendors as part of due diligence
- Ensure the core team, cross functional partners and leadership understand prioritization when we’re shipping and why it matters to the business’s overall objectives
- Drive alignment on initiatives with stakeholders, ensuring the business bought in on why we are making the investments we are.
- Embrace a rigorous, data-driven product culture with high attention to detail. Ensuring that decision making balances customer obsession and business priorities
- Keep stakeholders engaged and informed around progress
- Build trust and act as an evangelist to educate and articulate product initiatives across the company at varying levels
Requirements:

- 8+ years of relevant technology experience and at least 3+ years in product management within a tech driven environment.
- Having prior experience in building products in SalesForce a huge plus
- Demonstrated success understanding and translating technical requirements from engineers for non-technical stakeholders.
- Expert in applying agile methodologies to highly dependent, coupled projects crossing multiple work streams and teams.
- Expertise in agile software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including agile estimation/planning, building, testing, and operations.
- Having a technical degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus
