Opportunity overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own a major product within the Cohere platform, with full accountability from strategy to execution. Ultimately, your work will directly impact the experience and care that patients receive when they need help the most. 

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this is a critical role in a Series B company and an uncommon opportunity to build products from scratch that will rapidly scale.  The impact, experience, and professional growth over the next few years will be unmatched in healthcare. 

We are looking for a leader that will hit the ground running, is comfortable bringing order to ambiguous situations, and is comfortable independently managing the product management lifecycle. 

What you will do:

  • Develop a comprehensive product vision and strategy for your product area. 
  • Define the product strategy, key outcomes, and roadmaps needed to deliver on that vision. 
  • Work closely and directly with design and engineering teams to deliver solutions that have demonstrable and measurable impact. 
  • Partner with Business Leads to define product packaging, positioning, and go to market strategy for your product. 
  • Be an advocate for Product Management best practices to enable our Product team and the company to operate more effectively as we scale. 
  • Act as a product evangelist of your product to both Cohere stakeholders and to external clients. 

Your Background & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within healthcare, ideally with exposure to working with health plans. . 
  • Track record of “0 to 1” product experience, with the ability to synthesize complex insights and run experiments to develop a product strategy for the team.
  • Proven experience synthesizing business and customer needs to independently form (and execute on) a product roadmap. 
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and a dogged determination to always make decisions informed by data. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by influence amongst cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
