Senior Product Manager
(4 times a week from our office in Herzliya)
Most PM job descriptions describe someone who manages a backlog. This isn't that role. You'll lead a durable scrum team (with a designer and tech lead) that owns one problem: helping SMB importers buy and ship from overseas suppliers with confidence. You won't be handed a roadmap of features. You'll be given an business opportunity to focus on and the outcomes that tell us it's being solved [e.g., first sourcing order, repeat orders, order margin], and you'll be judged on whether they move.
Our strategy is to learn fast and invest only where evidence says so. That makes this a discovery-heavy role for someone who would rather kill a weak idea in a week than ship it in a quarter.
What you'll own
- Value and viability. Make sure what we build is something buyers choose and something Ship4wd can afford to run. That means working through payments, refunds, supplier risk, inspection costs and margin with finance, legal, operations and our China operations, not handing those problems to someone else.
- Discovery with your team. Test the four risks (value, usability, feasibility, viability) together with your designer and engineers from the start, using prototypes and real customer contact, before committing to builds.
- Turning expertise into product. Our sourcing and support experts solve problems every day that the product doesn't. You'll find which of those can become workflows, automation or AI-powered experiences.
- Insight into strategy. Bring evidence from customers and data that shapes where we place our next bets, including the decision to scale Sourcing or not.
- Learning from every release. Ship small and often, instrument what you ship, and know whether it worked.
What we're looking for
- Evidence that you've moved an outcome, not just shipped features. Expect us to ask how you knew.
- A track record of discovery: ideas you validated, and ideas you killed.
- Fluency with data: you define the metric, find the numbers in our dashboards and tools, and draw the conclusion.
- Business sense: you understand how a feature affects revenue, cost and risk.
- Hands-on AI: you use LLMs in your own work and have built or prototyped AI-powered product experiences.
- Typically, 3+ years in product. Excellent English is necessary and proficient Hebrew an advantage.
