About the role:We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead a new product line end to end, owning the vision, strategy, and roadmap that will guide its growth. You will define requirements, run discovery, and partner with engineering to prioritize and ship improvements. You will also own the post-sale relationship for several strategic accounts (biopharma customers, R&D organizations), the primary users of this new product line, serving as an integral link so the voice of the customer stays prevalent across our products, and drives the product development strategy
What you will do:Lead a new product line end to end, owning the vision, strategy, and roadmap that will guide its growth
Define product requirements and write specs, partnering closely with engineering to scope, prioritize, and ship improvements
Run product discovery, including customer interviews, competitive research, and market analysis, to inform roadmap decisions
Define success metrics for the product and track performance post launch, iterating based on data
Ideate, prepare and deliver polished, data-driven insights and presentations that turn raw data into clear, compelling narratives
Own the full post-sale relationship for key biopharma and R&D accounts, serving as the primary point of contact so the voice of the customer is prevalent across all our products
Build lightweight AI-assisted tools and automations to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort over time
Collaborate with leadership on product strategy, account strategy, renewal planning, and expansion opportunities across the biopharma, R&D and insurance portfolio
We are looking for a few specific things that will help you succeed in this role:
5+ years of experience in product management or data science role combining strategy and execution, ideally in a biopharma or healthtech environment
Track record of owning a product roadmap end to end, from discovery through shipping and measuring impact
Strong data fluency, comfortable working in spreadsheets and SQL or Python to pull, clean, and package insights without heavy analytical support. Previous experience as a data scientist or data analyst preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing polished decks, dashboards, and insight summaries
Excellent organization skills, with an ability to manage complex projects across various cross-functional stakeholders
AI native, you use AI tools as a core part of your workflow and are comfortable vibe coding lightweight solutions without engineering support
Experience translating customer or stakeholder feedback into product requirements and working alongside engineering to deliver improvements
Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships at large organizations, including handling escalations when needed
A hustler and a self-starter; you don’t just solve problems that others flag to you, you independently identify problems and risks before they happen, and build those solutions proactively into your plan.

Familiarity with rare disease, genetics, or the biopharma drug development lifecycle

The salary range for this role is $155,000-$210,000 annually. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs.

What We Do
Probably Genetic helps undiagnosed rare disease patients find answers to their symptoms in a matter of weeks. There are over 400 million people worldwide that have a rare disease — more than cancer and HIV patients combined. Half of those patients are currently undiagnosed and half of them are children, and it takes 5-7 years on average for these patients to get a diagnosis. With our system, patients can get answers in a matter of weeks. Our online Symptom Checker identifies rare disease patients using state-of-the-art machine learning models, gets them tested through our direct-to-consumer genetic testing service, and helps connect these patients to potentially life-saving treatments and advocacy communities. We partner with drug developers to offer sponsored testing programs that allow patients to access genetic testing for little to no cost.
