Sage Therapeutics is searching for a Senior Product Manager to partner in the development and execution of consumer marketing initiatives with an emphasis on Digital, Social Media & Patient Voices in both branded and unbranded initiatives. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, think strategically, and collaborate transversally to accomplish complex deliverables.

Roles and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Work closely with the Director, Consumer Marketing to ensure tactics are aligned with brand business objectives.

  • Develop and manage cross functional PPD disease state education campaign with a strong focus on social media & Influencer execution. Additional tactics may include:

    • DSE Microsite & CRM

    • Video Assets

    • Media Day / Live Events

    • Social & Influencer Content

  • Assist team members with ZURZUVAE Ambassador program as necessary, working with agency to recruit hand raisers who are inspired to share their story on ZURZUVAE and develop associated content (Testimonial videos, social posts etc) to be leveraged across DTC Channels.

  • Assist with the development and execution of core consumer marketing materials and related digital/media initiatives, including but not limited to:

    • In Office Leave Behinds

    • Branded Website

    • CRM

    • POC (Point of Care Assets)

    • Display

  • Assist in the review of analytics and KPIs and develop recommendations for future optimizations.

  • Contribute to the development of strategic brand plans and associated budgets.

  • Manage materials, projects, and resources through the internal review committee process (MLR)

  • Manage multiple agency partners including management of associated budgets

  • Manage vendor contract processing (purchasing requisitions, invoices, and approvals)

  • Collaborate with multiple functional groups across the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Regulatory, Market Access, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal, Patient Advocacy, and Medical Affairs

  • Align all efforts with Collaboration partner

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Must thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  •  5+ years marketing and communications experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNS or Women’s Health experience is a plus

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital ecosystem and how desktop, mobile, social, search and other online/offline channels work together in a customer journey

  • Experience managing external brand agencies and vendors

  • An outstanding track record of strong communication, presentation, analytic and strategic capabilities

  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners

  • Ability to build strong relationships with co-workers of various backgrounds and expertise
