Senior Product Manager, Studio & Gen AI
As the Senior Product Manager on the Roblox Studio team, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of tools that empower our vast, global community of creators to build more engaging and large scale experiences. This role involves collaborating with a talented team of engineers, designers, and product leaders to create innovative solutions leveraging Generative AI, with a particular focus on empowering creators through actionable, data-driven insights and intuitive tools.
A successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the broader AI and gaming industry landscape. You will also be a skilled communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver.
Roblox's goal is to capture 10% of the gaming market. This is an important role that presents the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of a large number of games played daily around the world.
You Will:
- Drive the full product lifecycle of innovative GenAI-powered tools that empower creators to build more efficiently, effectively, and optimize the performance of their experiences.
- Drive cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product marketing, etc.) to deliver innovative features that delight our community and streamline creator workflows
- Contribute to defining and tracking key metrics, collaborating closely with analytics partners to leverage large-scale data, to measure the success and surface data-driven insights.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI, particularly in GenAI applications in creative workflows and performance optimization..
You Have:
- User-Centric Vision: You deeply understand user needs and can translate emerging AI and industry trends into a compelling product vision and strategic roadmap.
- GenAI & Creator Tooling Familiarity: You possess a strong understanding of applied AI and an interest in tools such as AI-powered analytical insights, developer tools.
- Technical Acumen: You effectively collaborate with engineering on intricate technical challenges and possess the ability to delve into deep technical details.
- Exceptional Communication: You excel at clearly articulating product vision, strategy, and roadmaps to diverse audiences, fostering understanding and alignment.
- Proven Experience: You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. You have a 3+ year demonstrable track record in product management, preferably within creator tools, content platforms, or AI-powered applications.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
