Your future contribution:

As a Senior Product Manager at Smoobu, you will support a dedicated team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative and enhanced features within one of our Product & Engineering focus areas. Embedded in our Product community, you will collaborate closely with peers covering other focus areas. Together, as one team, you will motivate and support each other to craft, execute, and deliver a seamless Smoobu product experience.

In this role, you will define and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for your product area. Working in close partnership with Engineering, you will prioritize and execute initiatives aligned with business objectives. From planning through delivery, you’ll collaborate with your team[s] to identify opportunities, run experiments, and translate ideas into actionable requirements. Together, you’ll tackle daily challenges, ensure transparency in yearly, quarterly, and sprint planning, and deliver impactful solutions, guiding the process from discovery to launch.

As the key link between strategy and execution, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle. This includes preparing detailed requirement documents, creating Epics and Stories, and guiding the Engineering team throughout the development process. Your close collaboration will ensure clarity and alignment, empowering your team to reach its full potential. At Smoobu, Product Managers are fully empowered to lead their domains, combining product vision with hands-on engagement to deliver exceptional results.


How you’ll add value:

  • Drive and develop Smoobu’s product vision, strategies, and roadmaps within your area of responsibility. This includes: 
    • Identifying new opportunities through Market and User Research
    • Analyzing the tradeoffs between alternative approaches to value delivery and making rational choices in a timely manner
    • Planning alongside Engineering and other stakeholders to manage dependencies and hit release targets
    • Delivering on the product strategy in close alignment with Engineering, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing
    • Curating your Product Portfolio and assisting the user base to adapt to changes that replace current functionality with something new
  • Implement Product Management best practices within your teams and across the broader organization.
  • Mentor colleagues by sharing your expertise both within the Product Management team and across other departments.
  • Foster an outstanding team environment that promotes innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in ways of working.


You’ll be successful in this role if you:

  • Have solid professional experience in product management, ideally with a strong understanding of SaaS or the vacation rental sector.
  • Bring relevant expertise in one or more of the following areas: Revenue Products, Subscription Schemes or Engines, FinOps tools, or Partner/3rd-party API connectivity.
  • Have a proven ability to define and execute results-driven roadmaps within an agile environment.
  • Demonstrate strong quantitative analysis skills with a track record of making data-informed decisions.
  • Are passionate about creating intuitive, user-focused products and championing a user-centric approach.
  • Have experience working with 3rd-party APIs and other integration types.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, are proactive, and thrive in collaborating with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Are fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
