Purpose of Position

  • The Senior Product Manager, Supply Chain Management will be responsible for driving the product strategy, roadmap, and execution of supply chain technology solutions that support planning, inventory, fulfillment, logistics, and operational excellence across the organization. The incumbent will work closely with business, operations, engineering, data, and external partners to deliver scalable and impactful product capabilities that improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.
  • The incumbent is expected to bring strong domain knowledge in supply chain management together with practical experience in AI, data science, and advanced analytics to identify high-value opportunities, optimize workflows, and introduce innovative product capabilities that enhance forecasting, exception management, productivity, and business performance.

Job Description

  • Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for supply chain management products and capabilities, covering areas such as demand planning, inventory management, replenishment, order orchestration, fulfillment, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain visibility.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders, supply chain operations, planning, sourcing, logistics, customer service, and technology teams to gather requirements, define priorities, and translate business needs into scalable product solutions and technical specifications.
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from discovery and business case development through solution design, delivery, testing, rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify pain points and improvement opportunities across supply chain workflows, and develop product enhancements that improve service level, inventory health, speed, cost efficiency, operational control, and customer experience.
  • Drive AI-enabled product initiatives in the SCM domain, including demand forecasting, replenishment optimization, allocation logic, anomaly detection, exception management, intelligent recommendations, and LLM-based productivity or decision-support use cases.
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture, data, and analytics teams to ensure SCM products and AI capabilities are scalable, reliable, secure, and well integrated with enterprise platforms such as ERP, OMS, WMS, TMS, and reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to define use cases, evaluation methodologies, performance measures, and measurable business outcomes for AI and algorithm-driven product capabilities.
  • Develop strong product requirements, user stories, process flows, KPI definitions, and success metrics to ensure clarity of scope, strong alignment, and measurable delivery outcomes.
  • Prioritize product backlog based on business impact, operational urgency, feasibility, technical dependencies, and resource availability, while balancing short-term fixes with long-term platform value.
  • Monitor product performance through data, operational metrics, and user feedback, and continuously refine solutions to improve adoption, process efficiency, and business value.
  • Support change management and user adoption by working with stakeholders on rollout planning, training, communications, process redesign, and operating model alignment.
  • Contribute to building a strong product culture through structured thinking, collaboration, user-centric design, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong product management experience with proven track record in supply chain management, operations technology, or enterprise platforms supporting supply chain workflows.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes including demand planning, inventory management, order fulfillment, warehousing, logistics, and exception handling.
  • Experience in managing digital products or platforms in SCM-related domains such as ERP, OMS, WMS, TMS, planning systems, or related operational systems.
  • Practical experience with AI, data science, machine learning, or algorithm-driven solutions, especially in business use cases such as forecasting, optimization, recommendation, anomaly detection, or intelligent workflow automation.
  • Good understanding of how AI and LLM technologies can be applied to supply chain use cases, including decision support, knowledge access, workflow productivity, and operational insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into structured product solutions.
  • Experience in defining product roadmap, writing business requirements, managing backlog, and working closely with engineering and data teams in agile delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to work effectively across operations, planning, logistics, sourcing, customer service, technology, and leadership teams.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and detail management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain product concepts and technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Known for promoting structured product thinking, user-centric design, and data-driven decision-making.
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant working experience in product management, supply chain technology, or related digital transformation roles.
  • Experience in eCommerce, retail, omnichannel, or fast-paced consumer business environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in multicultural environments is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English.
