About Blooming Health:

Blooming Health is a mission-driven, venture-backed health tech company dedicated to transforming the social care landscape. We are building an intelligent platform to help individuals seamlessly navigate and access the resources essential for their holistic well-being, empowering CBOs, health systems, and health plans to deliver more effective and equitable care. We are a passionate team leveraging technology to solve complex challenges and make a real impact.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager / Product Lead to spearhead critical product initiatives from our US base. This is a key leadership role within the product team, requiring a strong blend of strategic thinking, deep customer empathy, technical understanding, and a bias for rapid execution. You will be responsible for driving product discovery, defining strategy for assigned domains, and partnering closely with our engineering teams to design, build, test, and iterate on solutions that solve key problems for our enterprise customers (Health Systems, Payers) and advance our AI-driven vision.

As a senior member of the product team, you will help shape product best practices, mentor other team members (as the team grows), and play a crucial role in the success of Blooming Health's platform. You will work directly with the CPTO and collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and our distributed engineering teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Customer Discovery & Problem Definition:
    • Lead in-depth customer discovery efforts, particularly with US-based Health Systems and Payers, to uncover unmet needs, validate hypotheses, and deeply understand user pain points and workflows.
    • Translate insights from customer research, market analysis, and data into clear problem statements and actionable product opportunities.
  • Product Strategy & Vision Contribution:
    • Take ownership and drive the product strategy and roadmap for key assigned domains (e.g., Enterprise Integrations/EHR, AI-driven Member Engagement, Payer Solutions – specific domain to be refined).
    • Develop compelling business cases and product proposals for new initiatives, grounded in customer value, market opportunity, and strategic alignment.
    • Contribute actively to the overall product vision and long-term strategy.
  • Product Design, Build & Iteration:
    • Partner closely with Product Designers and User Researchers to ensure intuitive, effective, and seamless user experiences.
    • Define and prioritize product requirements, features, epics, and user stories for your domain(s), managing the product backlog effectively.
    • Collaborate intensively with dedicated engineering pods (primarily India-based, with US integration points) to deliver high-quality solutions rapidly and iteratively.
    • Champion agile methodologies, rapid prototyping, and a "build-measure-learn" approach to test hypotheses and iterate quickly based on feedback and data.
  • Metrics, Measurement & Impact:
    • Define, track, and evangelize key success metrics for your product areas (e.g., usage, adoption, satisfaction, impact on business KPIs).
    • Utilize data analytics and A/B testing to inform prioritization, measure feature impact, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Serve as the primary product expert and point person for your domain(s) with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering.
    • Ensure tight alignment between product development and go-to-market strategies, actively participating in GTM planning.
    • Effectively communicate product plans, progress, learnings, and strategic rationale to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.
    • Potentially mentor junior PMs or APMs as the team grows.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of progressive product management experience, with at least 3-4 years in a Senior Product Manager or Product Lead capacity, preferably in B2B SaaS within Healthcare Technology or a closely related regulated industry.
    • Demonstrated success launching and iterating on complex software products in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment, taking features from ideation through launch and beyond.
    • Significant experience working with AI/ML-powered products; a strong understanding of how to translate AI capabilities into tangible user value and manage the unique lifecycle of AI product development.
    • Proven expertise in leading deep customer discovery (interviews, ethnographic research, usability testing, market analysis) and translating qualitative and quantitative insights into impactful product strategies.
    • Strong experience defining and tracking product metrics, using data to set goals, drive decisions, and measure success against business objectives.
    • Extensive experience working collaboratively with engineering teams in an agile environment, adept at writing clear requirements, managing backlogs, and making effective trade-offs.
    • Experience working effectively with distributed/offshore engineering teams is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills; ability to synthesize complex information and break down ambiguous problems.
    • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen; ability to connect product initiatives to broader company goals and market dynamics.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and storytelling skills; ability to articulate a clear vision, influence stakeholders at all levels, and inspire teams.
    • Highly collaborative, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and lead through influence across functions.
    • Decisive, with a strong bias for action, comfortable with ambiguity, and skilled at driving execution with speed and quality in a dynamic environment.
    • Proficient with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, analytics platforms, roadmap tools).
  • Nice to Haves:
    • Direct experience with EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner), FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
    • Experience with products involving workflow automation or complex B2B integrations.
    • Familiarity with social determinants of health (SDOH) or care coordination.
    • Experience setting up and refining product management processes.

Why Join Blooming Health?

  • Strategic Impact & Ownership: As a Product Lead, you will own significant product areas, directly shaping solutions that address major challenges in social care and healthcare.
  • Lead & Innovate: Drive innovation at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and social impact, with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Growth Trajectory: Opportunity to be a foundational product leader in a rapidly scaling company with significant growth potential.
  • Team & Mentorship: Collaborate with a passionate, mission-driven team and report directly to the CPTO, with opportunities to help build and shape the product culture.
