Job Description

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for strategy and execution for the FAST policy administration system. The role requires interaction with internal teams to build features and functionality, guiding the configuration and launch of insurance products, and working with potential clients to describe capabilities and meet client needs.

• Create & maintain a product & capability roadmap
• Prior experience launching insurance products on a policy admin system.
• Work in collaboration with internal teams, including IT and other teams, to deliver capabilities
• Foster client engagement through relationship-building efforts. Coordinate in-person visits and teleconferences to gain client input on and share knowledge with respect to Verisk products and services
• Further Verisk’s position as thought leader by speaking and leading the team writing about Verisk products, services and industry trends. Research and develop topic- and line-specific presentations and articles; collaborate with Law Department and Verisk Marketing teams as appropriate.
• Mentor your team and other less experienced staff as necessary, with regard to insurance-related topics and/or Verisk internal systems and workflow.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, or similar role, in the insurance industry
• Prior experience launching or updating insurance products on a policy admin system
• Experience working with clients to meet their needs
• Exposure to the full lifecycle of insurance from distribution to claims
