As a Product Manager for Communication, you’ll lead the evolution of private messaging on Roblox, shaping how millions of users interact daily. Your work will span text, voice, avatar-based communication, and shared experiences, ensuring people can connect in the most natural and immersive ways possible—whether they’re playing, creating, learning, or just hanging out.
The Product Manager role reports to the Vice President, Social and is based in San Mateo, CA.
You Will:- Define multi year vision & strategy for Private Messaging and Party Product
- Drive the exploration, invention, research, and development of how users will communicate in the metaverse
- Define and optimize safety standards of communication products
- Lead a cross organizational team to execute
- Work with groups and leaders across Roblox to ensure delightful Communication products across all Roblox surfaces - phones, tablets, desktop, consoles and VR
- Define and unlock new use cases for all ages that haven't even been discovered yet.
- Help invent the future!
- Experience. You have 8+ years of Product Management experience shipping high quality, delightful consumer apps across multiple platforms, especially pushing the envelope of Social products
- A Strategic Product Manager with strong experience in rapid prototyping, design ideation, and driving cross-functional teams to invent creative user interfaces.
- Creative! Imagine and invent use cases and product applications that have not been built before.
- A Risk Taker! You are not afraid to make bold bets and don’t shy away from changing how the world works

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
