Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.
For everyone, everywhere.
More about our mission and what we offer.
Job DescriptionAt Wise, we’re building money products that work seamlessly across borders. A smooth, trustworthy onboarding experience is a critical part of that — and Location Verification plays a key role in keeping customers safe while minimizing friction.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to own Location Verification end-to-end within our Personal Onboarding Verification domain. Your mission is to build and scale location verification capabilities that reduce onboarding friction while meeting compliance and risk requirements.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Location Verification, including long-term direction and near-term priorities.
- Lead problem discovery: understand customer pain points, operational constraints, and regulatory requirements; define clear problem statements and success metrics.
- Drive prioritisation and decision-making by balancing conversion, risk, customer experience, operational load, and cost.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design/UX to design, build, and iterate on location verification experiences and underlying capabilities.
- Work with Risk/Compliance and Operations to align on policies, thresholds, exception handling, and auditability.
- Ship and learn: define MVPs, run experiments where appropriate, launch safely (staged rollouts/monitoring), and iterate based on impact.
- Measure outcomes and build feedback loops using data and qualitative insights.
What success looks like
You’ll be accountable for measurable improvements such as:
- Higher successful onboarding completion
- Lower time-to-verify
- Reduced manual review load
- Better decision quality (lower false positives/false negatives)
- Improved cost efficiency while maintaining risk/compliance requirements
What we’re looking for
- Product management experience delivering customer-facing products end-to-end.
- Strong structured problem solving: you can frame ambiguous problems, identify root causes, and turn them into executable plans.
- Comfortable working with data and metrics: you define success measures, interpret results, and make trade-offs based on evidence.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence without authority, especially with Engineering, Design, Risk/Compliance, and Ops.
- Clear communication: you can align stakeholders, write crisp product docs, and drive decisions.
- Ownership mindset: you take accountability for outcomes, not just outputs.
Nice to have
- Experience in KYC / onboarding, identity or location verification, fraud/abuse, trust & safety, or other regulated/problem-heavy domains.
- Familiarity with experimentation, staged rollouts, and operating products with operational workflows.
- Experience working in distributed teams and with global stakeholders.
Location
This role is based in Hyderabad, working closely with teams across multiple locations.
