We are looking for a Senior Product Managerto join our Digital Product Creation program. This product manager willsupport our product creation teams (merchandising, design, product development), the backbone of our business and how we take products from idea to physical creation. You will be responsible for transforming how we manage our Item Data. Sitting at the core platforms of our business, you will be required to work across several business functions, navigate across varying technical architectures and work closely with other Product Managers across the Digital organization to get things done. The ideal candidate should have some experience in building or delivering on data platforms and/or, Product Information Management solutions in the past -- any experience in retail & apparel, and internal go to market or supply chain processes is a plus. 

About the Job 

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Item Data platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise PLM and product creation goals. Motivate and inspire stakeholders, other PMs, and the technical team around the vision and champion these benefits throughout the company  

  • Define business use cases and processes that will help shape how we define item data domains, core entities, data attributes and definitions and schemas that power automation and efficiencies for product creation, planning, manufacturing, and selling 

  • Lead the discovery and documentation of data use cases, data authoring responsibilities, and data lifecycle rules (e.g. survivorship, priority, and versioning) across systems and teams 

  • Serve as the product owner for item data governance, ensuring clarity around data ownership, stewardship, and quality standards across the organization 

  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to modernize our item data ecosystem and transition to scalable, service-oriented architectures. Navigate and influence an evolving technical landscape, balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform resilience and flexibility. 

  • Translate complex technical and data architecture concepts into clear priorities, product requirements, and roadmaps that deliver measurable business value and returns on investment 

  • Champion the adoption of best practices in domain driven design, data modeling, and metadata management to support evolving business needs 

  • Partner with engineering and design to co-develop potential solutions to user needs, exploring both use of third-party offerings and internal development of capabilities. Understand technical complexity of different product initiatives and the balance between quick wins vs platform longevity 

  • Where we do leverage 3rd party software, be able to effectively communicate + influence the vendor roadmap to prioritize enhancements or new capabilities. Be willing to make difficult tradeoffs of using the out of the box functionality or customizing the platform based on business needs 

  • Manage the full spectrum of the product development process, using prototypes and MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) to test assumptions and refine product directions based on real user engagement. 

  • Manage a dynamic and evolving product backlog – prioritize new ideas, enhancement requests from users, competitive analysis, and engagement data for your product. Be able to synthesize lots of data sources to know what should, and even more important, should not be prioritized. 

  • Keep a pulse on the industry. Conduct competitive analysis, evaluate other retailers, and stay informed on the industry and evolving technologies in this space. 

  • Be able to collect + synthesize data to be data informed and comfortable leading with your recommendations. Use experimentation to take that data, define a hypothesis, and run a test and receive data learn what works and does not work for our fans and our business. 

  • Support product releases through close partnerships with business and operations teams, understanding ways of working and effectively communicating changes to our business users 

  • Establish the right KPIs and analytics strategy to shape insights. Measure and monitor success of KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. 

  • Be a leader for our product organization. Help transform how we work by identifying new ways of working, implementing and championing those ideas, and mentoring other PMs to level up our organization. 

About You 

  • 6-8 years of experience in product management for complex and technical software products, especially in data platforms 

  • Strong data and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize insights to drive initiatives. 

  • Proven track record in product discovery and leading teams to achieve ambitious KPIs. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. 

  • Nice-to-have: Experience in apparel or go-to-market processes.
