OUR MISSION
Imagine building a better healthcare journey for cancer patients, where individuals and their loved ones feel seen, supported, and heard by their care team – both in and out of the clinic. Where fast access to high-quality care is the norm, not the exception. Where patients have access to a care navigator to guide them through their diagnosis and trusted support all along the way.
At Thyme Care, we share a passion for transforming the cancer care experience – not just for patients but also for their caregivers and loved ones, as well as those delivering and paying for their care. Today, Thyme Care is known predominantly as a cancer care navigation company enabling value-based cancer care; in the next few years, we will become a nationally recognized technology-driven and provider-centric care delivery model, reshaping the landscape of cancer care access, delivery, and experience. Our commitment runs deep-we're not satisfied with the status quo but determined to redefine it.
To make this happen, we're building a diverse team of problem solvers and critical thinkers to drive innovation and shape the future of healthcare. If you share our vision and want to be part of something truly meaningful, we want to hear from you. Together, we can revolutionize cancer care and make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Product Manager, Informatics & Data Products, you will join our Product organization to help build the tools and technology that support our care team, oncology providers, payers, and patients. You will be responsible for working across our data science teams and collaborating with our Clinical, Health Economics, Growth, and Operations teams to identify opportunities to improve the quality of care, reduce low-value utilization, and monitor the efficacy and value of Thyme Care's products and services in the management of cancer patients. To support this, you will be responsible for standing up Thyme Care's informatics and clinical content infrastructure by developing program population definitions leveraging standard vocabularies, including the appropriate policies and procedures to maintain these definitions across our various partner contracts. You will also be a go-to resource for identifying and evaluating potential content sources to enhance our end-user experience and defining and implementing the use of existing ontologies and vocabularies for Thyme Care products and services. In addition, you have deep clinical and oncology expertise that will enable you to effectively lead external engagements with potential and current partners and collaborate with our Health Economics team to align on key clinical metrics, implement and optimize our interventions, and provide guidance on a variety of clinical initiatives across the organization.
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
- Advanced clinical degree (MD, PharmD, BSN, APRN, etc.)
- Strong experience and domain expertise in healthcare and preferably value-based care.
- Prior experience in clinical informatics and/or clinical content management and working with clinical ontologies (SNOMED, RxNorm, ICD-10, LOINC, etc...)
- Prior experience leading multiple highly complex data projects, with a proven track record for successful and timely delivery.
- Proficient with project management principles and tools, able to handle multiple competing program needs and deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Strong technical and analytical abilities, with a problem-solving mindset, to help define metrics and interpret analyses with the health economics and data science teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build relationships in a matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to partner directly with external clients to manage data specifications and deliverables.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and capable of articulating technical and business needs to diverse audiences.
WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS
- Experience: You've done this before and know how product-led companies should operate. You also have substantial experience with healthcare data, are technical enough to discuss trade-offs with data scientists, and can get your hands dirty with data. Where you may not have the skillset to complete a task today, you are willing to invest time to learn.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity. You have experience working on highly ambiguous problems, where solutions are developed via a rigorous and intellectually honest iterative process.
- Strong translator and client manager. You can break down complex clinical and data concepts with nuanced interpersonal skills that can be flexible for various audiences, and you can partner directly with our risk-bearing partners to manage data specifications and deliverables.
- Organized. You're skilled in juggling multiple tasks and working under pressure without sacrificing organization in your communications and documentation. You have excellent project management skills and can lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Humility and integrity. You listen first, act second. You build consensus by default but can drive hard decisions when needed. You push the pace. You recognize that teams, not individuals, solve hard problems. You say what you'll do and do what you say. You hold your team to this standard. You don't let details slip.
- Effective listener and communicator. You are winsome and articulate, but you always start with listening, and you hear what may not be voiced because you listen so intently to others. You build rapport and excellent working relationships with your team, leadership, and stakeholders.

We recognize a history of inequality in healthcare. We're here to challenge the status quo and create a culture of inclusion through the care we give and the company we build. We embrace and celebrate a diversity of perspectives in reflection of our members and the members we serve. We are an equal-opportunity employer.
