Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Inductive Position Sensing (IPS) team based in Graz, Austria — an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated group shaping the next generation of sensing solutions. The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in defining, shaping, and growing the product portfolio. This role bridges business, technology, and customer needs. The Product Manager ensures that product strategy aligns with market opportunities, customer requirements, and product line objectives. Through close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, the Product Manager drives product lifecycle excellence — from concept, definition, and roadmap creation through launch, evolution, and end‑of‑life.

This global role offers full autonomy and the opportunity to work across a wide variety of industrial and automotive applications, driving meaningful impact in a fast‑moving technology space.

 

Product Definition & Strategy

  • Own product definition, market positioning, and value proposition.
  • Translate customer needs, competitive insights, and internal expertise into clear product requirements.
  • Deploy variant management concepts and implement cost benefit to balance the feature versus development and unit cost
  • Define evaluation kits, tools and demonstrators to enable a successful product promotion
  • Build and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Drive the full product lifecycle: concept, requirements, development, launch, maintenance, enhancement, and retirement.
  • Conduct regular lifecycle reviews to optimize portfolio performance.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Marketing and System&Application Engineers to ensure successful product execution.
  • Provide clear and data‑driven guidance to teams to enable efficient development and go‑to‑market activities.
  • Support Sales and Business Development with product expertise, training, and customer engagements.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3–5+ years in product management, technical marketing, or a related role (industry‑specific experience qrequired).
  • Proven track record of defining and delivering successful products across their lifecycle.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional engineering and commercial teams.
  • Background in technology, electronics, or related engineering domains is required

Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic‑thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to articulate complex topics to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, and customer‑centric mindset.
  • Proficiency with standard business and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional Information

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement of the Electrical and Electronics Industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times a year. However, we offer a higher salary depending on your experience and qualifications.
