emphasis on identifying green field opportunities
  • Assess the financial viability of new product ideas and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, ensuring
    transparency and alignment

Qualifications:

  • Experience creating, developing, and launching cutting-edge products, preferably within Fortune 500 environments
  • Experience launching successful 1.0 products
  • Familiar with and experience using AI tools for ideation, concept development, and functional prototyping (“vibe coding” is a plus)
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to conduct competitive analysis and assess financial viability
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Developing the portfolio:

1. Financial Returns:

2. Customer Desirability:

  • Market Demand: Use market research to gauge customer interest and demand.
  • Competitive Advantage: Analyze how the product stands out from competitors and its potential to capture market share.

3. Strategic Alignment:

  • Portfolio Balance: Maintain a balanced portfolio that includes a mix of high risk, high-reward projects and more stable, incremental innovations.

4. Technological Viability:

  • Feasibility Assessment: Determine if the necessary technology is available or can be developed within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Risk Analysis: Identify potential technical risks and challenges and assess their impact on the project.
