Senior Product Manager (Cyber)

Conversant Group is an IT infrastructure and security consulting company based in Chattanooga, TN. Conversant Group has provided technical, organizational, procedural, and process consulting internationally since the company was formed in 2009.

The Sr. Product Manager for Conversant Group plays an integral role in the company’s success. Reporting to the CTO, this individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining product roadmaps and strategy alignment across battalions, including Grypho5’s Managed Protection Services offerings. To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of cyber security and infrastructure technologies, market trends, and product development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, executive direction and leadership across the products and services offered by Conversant Group and its battalions.
• Understand emerging technologies and competitor landscapes to drive innovation and product road maps.
• Clearly articulate product visions and strategies to executive leadership across the business.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success to drive go-to-market and customer adoption.
• Enhance Managed Protection Packages based on customer feedback, partner roadmaps, etc.
• Responsible for determining business needs, understanding market demands and technical trends, problem-solving, and proposing solutions.
• Align with business partners to balance business and technical objectives and manifest these as clear, stable priorities for everyone.
• Manage product planning through day-to-day collaboration and decision-making with a cross-functional team including engineers and business partners.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to build and maintain guides, documentation, processes, procedures, visuals, etc. to support the products and services provided by Conversant Group and its battalions.
• Help develop KPI’s and OKR’s to measure success for the Product Management teams.
• Help recruit and develop a team of product managers, including within other battalions.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills

• Experience in product management leadership (5+ years).
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams against OKR’s and KPI’s.
• In-depth understanding of infrastructure and cybersecurity technologies.
• Understanding of annual recurring revenue models & managed services.
• Excellent analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong relationship building skills and leadership capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work with sales, customer success, and engineering to deliver customer-facing features (5+ years).
• Hands-on experience in developing roadmaps, priorities, features, story outlines, refining product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, changing environment with a variety of stakeholders (5+ years).
• Industry experience in a technology environment with a record of successfully delivering custom, complex products (5+ years).
• Ability to form relationships across all levels of the company while modeling Conversant Group’s Culture and Values.
