Company Description

Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting-edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience.

Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.

Joining Farther means joining a collaborative team of entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping their clients and our teammates achieve more. If you’re the type who breaks through walls to get things done the right way, we want to build the future of wealth management with you.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Client Products and Platform team, reporting to our Senior Director of Product. You'll own key features and experiences within our client-facing platform, working to create seamless, integrated experiences that help high-net-worth individuals manage their wealth with confidence.

This role sits at the intersection of consumer fintech and wealth management. You'll be building products that combine the polish and ease-of-use of best-in-class consumer apps with the sophistication and compliance requirements of financial services. You'll work closely with engineering, design, advisors, and operations to ship products that clients love and that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Your Impact
  • Own the roadmap and execution for consumer-facing products and features within our platform
  • Define product strategy based on client needs, business objectives, and market opportunities
  • Make disciplined trade-offs between scope, quality, and timeline - knowing when to cut scope but never polish
  • Drive product discovery through user research, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to ship high-quality features on time
  • Work with advisors and client experience teams to understand workflows and pain points
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Lead agile ceremonies and keep teams unblocked and moving forward
  • Set clear success metrics and use data to measure impact and inform iteration
  • Deliver client and business value by achieving product market fit
  • Develop deep empathy for our clients and stay current on wealth management industry trends
The Ideal Match
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years on consumer-facing products
  • Proven track record of shipping successful products from 0→1 and scaling them
  • Strong technical fluency - ability to discuss APIs, data models, system architecture with engineering teams
  • Experience working in agile environments with engineering and design partners
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform product decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - can articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences
  • Scrappy, hands-on mindset - willing to roll up sleeves and do whatever it takes to ship great products
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels
Bonus Points
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated industries
  • Background in wealth management, investment platforms, or B2B2C products
  • Familiarity with platform integration challenges (connecting disparate products into cohesive experiences)
  • Experience with marketing and personalization software and strategy
  • Experience building products for high-net-worth or enterprise clients
  • Technical background or ability to work hands-on with code
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree
