The Infrastructure Group at Roblox is responsible for designing, building, and operating the core systems that power Roblox, including storage, compute, networking, security, and engineering efficiency. These systems are built to scale, supporting 88.9 million daily active users, delivering exabytes of content, and handling over 250 million concurrent connections.
Every day, Roblox engineers deploy thousands of different microservices to power Roblox, our website, AI/ML, currency transactions, and many other use cases. The serverless computing infrastructure is a key part of Roblox’s core infrastructure providing us flexibility in managing dynamic workloads, maintaining resilience to failures, reducing latency to our global users, and optimizing cost. As we continue to grow as a team and as a company, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy for our serverless compute architecture. While the impact of this role extends beyond internal engineering teams, this is an internal facing role with your direct customers being Roblox engineers.
You will:
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the serverless computing infrastructure and its features/components
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and other team members to prioritize features and drive product development from concept to launch
- Leverage metrics to iterate on the strategy and improve features and user experience
- Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies to advise product decisions
- Communicate product updates, achievements, and priorities effectively to team members across the organization
- Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience for our users by leveraging your experience in user-centered design principles
You have:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in compute infrastructure, developer tooling/platforms, with expertise in shipping high-quality products
- Experience defining, managing or driving adoption of infrastructure and developer products
- Expertise in navigating platform product development, with deep experience in internal stakeholder management
- The ability to clearly communicate complex concepts, including roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
- Proven ability to unite cross-functional teams, driving cohesive collaboration to deliver on ambitious goals, align products with stakeholder expectations, and conduct rapid experimentation to achieve measurable outcomes
- Experience leading cross-functional execution with various teams including engineering, data science, security and design to conceptualize, develop, test, and launch impactful tools tailored to user needs and preferences

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$269,640—$318,090 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
