CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative Senior Product Manager who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!

Responsibilities:

  • Own your Commercial IoT product or platform component, accountable for its roadmap, development, articulation, and execution
  • Act as the main point of contact for your product with customers and the go-to-market team
  • Develop empathy for the needs of our Commercial customers and use independent judgment and discretion to create a compelling vision for how to address them
  • Drive prioritization and trade-off decisions considering inputs from customers, engineering, design, field, and business operations
  • Influence a cross-functional team of engineers, sales, and designers to help articulate, build, and ship high-impact Commercial products to our customers
  • Write product requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design, and development teams
  • Leverage consumer insights and market intelligence to inform Commercial product decisions; research and identify new opportunities
  • Evangelize Commercial platform capabilities and educate stakeholders and related teams
  • Bring the voice of our Commercial customers, partners, and users to every meeting and interaction to help us understand the impact of choices we make
  • Work closely with UX to gather user feedback and iterate on or create new Commercial product features based on user needs and pain points
  • Work with senior and executive leadership in the company to prepare business cases and models for the overall Commercial product line
  • Complete any additional tasks as they arise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in Product Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business or Engineering
  • 4+ years of work experience across B2C and B2B technology businesses
  • Experience with insurance and telematics is a plus
  • 2+ years of product management experience and a track record of delivering ambitious business results and creating products that users love. Ideal candidates will have worked on consumer-facing IoT products and understand the challenges of gaining user adoption
  • Humility, scrappiness, and demonstrated ability to motivate teams across organizational boundaries, delivering impact fast amid ambiguity, change, and resource constraints
  • Exceptional written and oral communication across mediums and audiences
  • Passion for IoT devices, data, and AI. Voracious learner who keeps abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the space
  • Candidates should be based out of Cambridge, MA
