Senior Product Manager - Ad Syndication (Remote - United States)

Summary

Yelp is looking for a Senior Product Manager to build state-of-the-art ads features to improve Yelp ads. In this highly visible and impactful role, you'll work on product areas that grow the advertising value of our marketplace for both local businesses and users. You'll be at the forefront of developing technical ads systems, partnering with external partners and optimizing Yelp ads across various platforms.

As a Senior PM on our Ad Syndication team you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional group of product managers, business operations, applied scientists, designers, machine learning engineers, backend and frontend engineers, and more. What you'll do:

• Build partnerships with Yelp partners for integration and optimization to provide the best advertising experience to our advertisers.
• Work closely with engineers to develop ad delivery pipelines and systems across multiple ad inventory sources.
• Perform and direct analyses to deeply understand what is happening in the marketplace to make complex tradeoffs and identify new areas of focus.
• Optimize components of the backend platform to drive more value to advertisers and grow long-term revenue.
• Work cross-functionally to guide products and break down complex problems by connecting the technical and business worlds.

What it takes to succeed:

• Experience as a Product Manager in an applicable industry with a background in math, economics, or any other technical field.
• Customer driven: energized by driving revenue and user growth and translating both consumers' and businesses' wants and needs into concrete features.
• Problem solver: loves to break down complex, unstructured problems into digestible components from conception to launch.
• Effective communicator: able to synthesize and translate between technical and non-technical audiences; effectively communicates topics involving complex trade offs to stakeholders across the organization and to external partners.
• Tech savvy: has experience solving difficult, company-critical technical problems .
• Operational know-how: diligent on improving processes around ads system reliability and metrics monitoring, constantly thinks about how to make processes more efficient.
• Strong collaborator: enjoys working across different teams, functions, and timezones

What you'll get:

• Compensation range is $100,000-260,000 annually. Depending on your role and level, you may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
