Badger Maps is a bootstrapped company that builds a route planning software for field salespeople that dramatically improves operations through route optimization, smart scheduling, CRM integration, and other cool features!
We're looking for a Senior Product Lead who can support the Product team and align with the company's product strategy through quantitative, revenue-focused decision-making, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful end-to-end product rollout and execution. The role involves mentoring team members, removing obstacles, and ensuring cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams. The Product Lead will drive success by maintaining strategic cohesion, improving execution efficiency, and facilitating better decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
What to expect:
- Establish and implement meticulous frameworks for prioritizing initiatives, ensuring a direct impact on revenue growth.
- Successfully balance short-term demands (quick wins, bug fixes, supporting Sales and Customer Success) with long-term strategic planning.
- Drive an ambitious revenue growth trajectory through data-driven initiatives and strategic recalibrations.
- Advocate for building user-centric product experiences by working with Product Designers and implementing systems to gather customer feedback to inform product prioritization, scoping, and decision-making.
- Drive product success by aligning and adapting communications to various audiences and seek input to ensure understanding, trust, and empower decentralized decision-making.
- Leverage lateral management skills to influence across the organization, aligning multiple teams without direct control.
- Empower and develop product team members through mentorship and management, encouraging experimentation with new models, frameworks, methodologies, and trends. You'll work with a team that seeks to understand the rationale behind decisions and engages in constructive challenges to assumptions in a lean, iterative environment.
What we are looking for:
- 3 years of experience in software Product Management and working with Agile methodologies.
- Very comfortable with technical conversations, ability to quickly understand technical specifications and limitations. Must be able to quickly pick up important details and understand technical implications.
- Experience mentoring or managing product professionals.
- Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience using tools to make informed, data-driven decisions and identify opportunities for product improvements.
- A strong understanding of SaaS, subscription-based businesses, and experience with either B2B or B2C products.
Nice to have:
- Experience with business strategy, market positioning, and pricing.
- Experience working with or implementing product-led growth in a sales-led organization.
- Experience successfully launching a new product or a major new version of an existing product.
- Entrepreneurial experience, experience leading product strategy at other companies.
- Bringing new perspectives and experiences from past roles to apply at Badger, helping individuals on the team grow
