The Role:
We are looking for a Product Designer who combines strong product thinking, exceptional craft, and a deep understanding of customer behavior. This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, marketing, and customer experience. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to design intuitive consumer experiences that simplify financial decision-making and help users achieve better financial outcomes.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in ambiguity, solving complex product challenges, and taking ownership from concept to execution. The ideal candidate combines strong UX fundamentals, visual design excellence, and systems thinking with a bias toward shipping high-quality experiences. This is a high-impact role where you will influence product direction, define customer journeys, and help shape the design language of a category-defining fintech company.
What You Will Do:
Own end-to-end design for key product initiatives from discovery to launch
Design intuitive user journeys across spending, saving, investing and subscriptions products
Translate complex financial workflows into simple, engaging, and user-friendly experiences
Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs that balance usability and business objectives
Design experiences that solve meaningful customer problems while driving business outcomes
Explore new interaction patterns and product opportunities that improve customer engagement and satisfaction
Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers during discovery and solutioning phases
Balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical feasibility when making design decisions
Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to uncover insights
Translate customer feedback and behavioral patterns into product improvements
Validate concepts through rapid prototyping and iterative testing
Advocate for customer-centric thinking across the organization
Contribute to and evolve Sav's design system and component libraries
Create scalable patterns that ensure consistency across products and platforms
Establish design standards, documentation, and best practices
Partner closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to improve activation, engagement, retention, and conversion metrics
Design experiments and optimization initiatives based on user behavior and business goals
Use qualitative and quantitative insights to drive product improvements
Support growth initiatives through thoughtful UX and conversion-focused design
Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and content creation
Build efficient workflows that improve design velocity without compromising quality
Stay informed about emerging design tools, technologies, and industry best practices
Continuously identify opportunities to improve collaboration, documentation, and execution processes
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership teams
Participate in product discovery, roadmap discussions, and strategic planning
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders across functions
Drive projects independently while maintaining a high standard of craft and execution
RequirementsExperience and Qualifications:
4-8 years of experience designing digital consumer products
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design thinking and execution
Experience designing mobile-first consumer applications
Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, visual design, and information architecture
Proficiency with Figma and modern design workflows
Experience working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
