Who we're looking for
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in design systems, design tokens, accessibility, usability, and be capable of taking business and user insights through to final polished figma designs and prototypes.
They should have a strong product mindset, critical thinking skills and be collaborative. The candidate is expected to be proactive and self-motivated and will work closely with the Head of Product, Lead Product Designer, wider Product team, Engineers and other business stakeholders to produce innovative solutions that drive user and business value.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for design, product, research, usability, value and informed decisions.
- Collaborate with different teams and manage stakeholders.
- Define, ideate, research, and prototype both in low and high fidelity.
- Plan and facilitate workshops.
- Document and synthesise insights.
- Maintain and work on design systems and design tokens.
- Write UX copy and microcopy.
Minimum requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Product Design.
- Degree or similar qualification in Design or equivalent practical experience and training.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- A natural curiosity to solve problems, collaborative, analytical and have a product mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams following an agile, product-led approach.
- Expert-level Figma user.
- Strong UX copy and microcopy writing skills.
- Excellent web and mobile app design skills.
- Fintech or SaaS product design experience.
Bonus
- Experience working in the SMB (small, medium business) domain such as neobank targeting this market.
- Experience working with comprehensive design systems and design tokens.
