Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer at Texture, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the energy sector and leading the rollout of distributed, renewable energy by designing intuitive and user-centric products, as well as creating compelling marketing materials and websites that empower our users and drive our company's growth. We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Product Designer who can contribute to the evolution of our platform, focusing on the user experience, overall design aesthetic, and marketing collateral.

• User-centric design: Lead the end-to-end design process for products, ensuring they are user-friendly, intuitive, and aligned with user needs and goals.

• Design strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product design strategies, roadmaps, and marketing design goals.

• Wireframing and prototyping: Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications for products, as well as marketing collateral to communicate design concepts effectively.

• UI/UX design: Develop high-fidelity user interfaces for products and create visually appealing marketing materials and websites that reflect Texture's brand identity.

• User research: Conduct user research for product design and marketing efforts, including usability testing, user interviews, and feedback gathering.

• Iterative design: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, marketing campaign results, and evolving project requirements.

• Design systems Create design systems from scratch based on brand guidelines and work with engineers to translate systems to code in a component-based UI architecture.

• Design documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and design systems for products and marketing to ensure design consistency and scalability.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions are technically feasible, aligned with project timelines, and integrated into marketing campaigns and websites.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a product designer and web designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design work and marketing design materials.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma,Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture.

• Ability to communicate and present design concepts effectively.

• Experience working closely with software engineers in iterative agile product development.

• Experience working with distributed teams.

• Experience working with outside consultants on branding, motion designs, campaigns or other design projects.

• Experience with enterprise or data products is highly desirable.
