What you will do
- Design and deliver wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for cybersecurity applications and tools tailored for technical and non-technical users.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and security experts to create interfaces that simplify complex cybersecurity concepts while maintaining user trust.
- Design for three distinct applications (mobile app, client portal, internal admin tool), supporting cross-platform UX strategy and system alignment.
- Translate technical and security requirements into intuitive, user-friendly designs that prioritize privacy and protection.
- Assist in building out our new tokenized design system.
- Help define and evolve our multi-platform design architecture.
- Support a cohesive component library for consistency and implementation speed.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in cybersecurity, UX design, and accessibility standards to deliver innovative solutions.
- Work with the product team and customers to understand business requirements and processes in relation to contextual user behavior for superior design proposals.
- Work closely with the development team to gauge the feasibility of proposed designs and ensure support of business requirements while conforming to proposed Design Standards.
- Help build and refine our internal design process, including design reviews, documentation standards, and collaborative workflows with product and engineering.
- Present design concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and incorporate feedback in fast-paced design-build cycles.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand the unique needs of high-stakes users and incorporate feedback into designs.
What you need to be successful
- A bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Figma is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing with sensitive or high-stakes user groups.
- Familiarity with designing for secure and privacy-focused applications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.
