We are seeking a Senior Product Designer with a robust portfolio that showcases exceptional consumer design skills, extensive experience in user research, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. What You’ll Do at Owlet:

• Own design problems end to end, from initial concept through shipping and beyond
• Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
  
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously iterate and improve the user experience
• Partner with Product and Engineering to ship pixel-perfect designs
• Collaborate with other product designers and teams across Owlet to maintain a consistent and cohesive design language and user experience

The Must – Haves:

• 5+ years of proven experience designing for mobile, with deep familiarity with iOS and Android application design that demonstrates love and care for your craft
  
• A strong portfolio of consumer app design that demonstrates an innate understanding of the end-to-end design process - from identifying customer needs and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  
• Strong communication, articulating design rationale based on qualitative and quantitative data
  
• Strong visual and interaction design skills and deep knowledge of UI best practices
  
• Proficiency in prototyping your ideas to help articulate nuanced design decisions
  
• Experience building products in a remote or distributed team environment
  
• Experience building products with a global footprint
  
• Experience in customer journey mapping and strategic design to complement design foundations
  
• Expertise in Figma and experience in building, maintaining, and scaling design systems
• Bonus - Experience in the baby category or with medical devices
