Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior UX designer to join our dynamic product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design, a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences, and the ability to lead and mentor other designers. As a senior UX designer at Logz.io, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our users and stands out in the competitive market. This is a highly visible strategic role with the opportunity to make a big impact on a fast-growing, dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be part of a team in charge of the UI & UX design efforts for Logz.io’s platform, from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas
- Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across the platform.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into the design process.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a product designer, simplifying complex SaaS B2B platforms, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and solutions across various platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
- Mastery of Figma and other design tools.
- Experience in all phases of the design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Experience collaborating closely with R&D and product managers.
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
