We are looking for a senior product designer to lead the visual direction of our product suite and own the visual layer of our design system.
This role shapes a unified visual identity across our product suite. You'll build on a token-based design system with an established component library, and on a new visual direction we've developed with an AI agent trained on our brand. You will take that direction further, apply it consistently across every product, and build it into the system so that every squad uses it by default.
You will be part of the platform team. Around 70 percent of your time goes into visual design and the design system, and the rest into product design work on the platform.
This is a long-term role. Once the foundation is in place, you continue to develop it.
What You'll Do
Review our current products and decide which visual inconsistencies to address first.
Define the visual language: typography, colour, layout and density, iconography, illustration and motion.
Build it into the design system as components, including interaction states, transitions and micro-interactions.
Develop our early visual direction into a documented standard for all squads.
Work with the other designers and with engineering to get the system adopted across products.
Design and ship product work for the platform team.
Work in code. Our designers use Claude Code to build and open pull requests, following clear guidelines on when to involve a developer.
What You Bring
Senior or lead level product design experience, with visual design as your strongest skill.
A portfolio showing visual systems you created and the thinking behind them. We are specifically looking for work with a clear visual identity, beyond well-designed user flows.
Experience building and maintaining a design system that other designers and engineers used.
Experience with motion and interaction design.
Experience customising and extending an existing code-based component library, such as shadcn/ui, Radix or Material UI.
Comfort working close to code. You can read HTML and CSS and you understand how your designs get built. We design mainly in code with Claude Code, and Figma is a secondary tool for us.
Confidence presenting and defending design decisions to product managers and engineers.
Full professional English. Our product and design people sit in Dubai and Ukraine.
Based in, or willing to relocate to, Dubai.
Nice to Have
Hands-on with Claude Code or an equivalent agentic coding tool.
A working understanding of LLMs and core AI concepts, and where they break.
Front-end development experience.
A background in brand or editorial design.
What's In It for You
A design system with solid technical foundations to build on.
Ownership of the visual direction across a full product suite.
Work with industry-leading experts across multidisciplinary design teams.
Weekly design critique with people who will push your work.
Hands-on AI work in the product and in how we build it.
A fast-growing scale-up where your ideas shape the product from day one.
Hybrid and flexible, in Dubai.
Ready to join us?
Apply with your CV and portfolio in English. Please include a short note on one project where you changed a product's visual language: what it looked like before, what you changed, and why. We read that part first.
