Senior Product Designer - Remote

As a Senior Product Designer in the Operations domain, you will be responsible for crafting hyper-intuitive yet delightful experiences across our internal web dashboards and Pilot mobile app, from concept through to launch. Your role will involve a deep understanding of user needs, translating complex requirements into user-friendly designs, and ensuring that every interaction is optimized for efficiency and clarity. You will work closely with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to deliver user-centric designs that not only meet but exceed user expectations. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to drive the design vision and elevate the overall user experience within our operational tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall design strategy for internal dashboards and the Pilot app, aligning with business goals and user needs. 

• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visuals using Figma, and collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately 

• Conduct comprehensive user research to understand the needs, behaviours, and pain points of our internal users and customers. 

• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to identify areas for improvement and validate design solutions. 

• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization. 

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business, product management, and engineering to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives. 

• Present design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders, iterating on designs based on input to refine and enhance the user experience. 

• Utilize and contribute to design systems, maintaining a cohesive visual style and ensuring scalability across various platforms. 

• Proactively identify opportunities for improving existing designs and processes, contributing to the overall growth and success of the operations domain. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile UI/UX designs and growth-driven outcomes.  
• Strong proficiency in Figma  
• Understanding of visual grouping and how it relates to information hierarchy 
• A keen eye for details and a strong aesthetic sense 
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to communicate complex creative concepts clearly and persuasively 
• Ability to define / extract the essence of a brand and work on a variety of assets holding that brand's essence
