About the Role

We are seeking a (Senior) Product Design Engineer to support with design, reviews, approvals, and advanced engineering development for autonomous robotic systems used in greenhouse environments. This is a critical engineering role focused on ensuring our next-generation agricultural robots are robust, reliable, user-centric, and ready for scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, review, validate, and approve engineering designs for greenhouse autonomous robots
  • Execute kinematic and motion analysis of linkages, joints, and robotic mechanisms for optimized performance
  • Ensure compliance with functional requirements, safety standards, and manufacturing constraints
  • Analyze field issues, customer feedback, and failure modes to identify risks and initiate design improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, field engineers, and customers to define requirements and develop prototypes
  • Incorporate user experience insights and quality specifications into design iterations
  • Review and approve engineering change requests (ECR/ECN)
Technical Skills & Expertise
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as Design & CAD Engineer within the discrete products industry
  • Should have hands-on experience in SOLID WORKS or similar tool - Engineering, Parametric CAD Modeling, GD&T and Assembly modeling
  • Be able to conduct tolerance and stack up analysis, clash/collision analysis and mechanism simulation & analysis
  • Should have have experience in CAD quality inspection, Change management and CAD data management in a PLM environment.
  • Should have good communication and interpersonal skills to work with international suppliers and customers
