About the role:

Works in a fast-paced environment to analyze customer complaints for the Electrophysiology Complaint Management Center (CMC), determine regulatory reportability and coordinate activities with internal, field and end-use customers. This role is responsible for adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), proper complaint handling in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and other applicable governmental regulations. The role communicates event investigation results through regulatory reports and written communications, as appropriate.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Applying clinical knowledge to review complaint communications and laboratory analyses, assign event coding, assess regulatory reportability and evaluate potential impacts on patient safety and business operations.

  • Performing quality reviews and approving records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Working independently within company policies, guidelines and procedures while seeking guidance on complex or unprecedented issues.

  • Participating in onboarding, training and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Providing constructive guidance and coaching to new or less experienced analysts, including actionable feedback that supports skill development and builds confidence.

  • Solving problems of varying scope and complexity by applying existing solutions and exercising judgment and autonomy to develop new solutions based on experience.

  • Leading and creating team engagement around continuous improvement goals for safety, quality, service, cost and space through the use of lean and operational excellence tools and best practices.

  • Participating regularly in discussions and presentations in small-group meetings, logically presenting information to convey key messages.

  • Leading small projects or project steps with manageable risks and resource requirements, as needed.


Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical device complaint processing and reporting.

  • Self-motivated, goal-driven and results-oriented team player.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in biology, health sciences, biotechnology, engineering or a related field.

  • Experience with SAS, Power BI or TrackWise applications.

  • Experience reviewing scientific literature.
