As a Senior Product Associate within Offers & Shopping, you will be part of a highly cross functional, collaborative product team that partners with design, technology, finance, legal, controls, and analytics to design and develop next generation Offers & Shopping experiences. You will help craft the product strategy, develop market-leading product innovation, and be the steward of capturing an understanding of advertising market needs, present and future, and translating into feature requirements in a matrixed organization. This is an exciting opportunity to impact aspects of the consumer journey including intent capture, offer relevance/personalization, and consumer communications in addition to delivering on business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Combine vision, creativity, research, and data-based insights to transform the Offers & Shopping customer experience with ground-breaking product innovation.
- Manage the personalization product roadmap, backlog, requirements, and prioritization.
- Lead discovery on new initiatives, including determining and refining business value, customer value and working with tech partners for tech feasibility and data availability.
- Partner with design and research teams to lead customers experience improvements and new features desirability.
- Create and champion new ideas and use cases by getting feedback from internal stakeholders, user research, customer feedback loops and analyzing the competitive landscape.
- Create initiatives, epics and user stories in JIRA backlog, as well as identify and engage cross-impacted teams to prioritize work.
- Refine and prioritize stories, as well as lead sprint planning and execution (along with other scrum cadences and events) for technology development teams for consumer experience requirements.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience in product management, digital, technology, fin-tech, banking, strategy and/or consulting
- Experience developing roadmaps and immersive experiences to impact customer engagement and acquisition; must be user experience-obsessed and work well in cross-functional teams
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise, and convincing manner to stakeholders and partners.
- Ability to act independently and proactively working through ambiguity to bring new technology to market
- Ability to identify and address program execution needs in a fast-paced environment; previous exposure to agile practices and ability to adapt agile tools
- Solid organizational and project management skills, including strong follow through skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and workstreams
- Ability to partner directly with technology scrum teams to translate product requirements and user stories into technology sizing estimates and requirements.
- Great at balancing strategic & creative thinking and tangible execution
