Join the Business Banking Wholesale Lending Product organization and help drive strategic initiatives that support product growth, client experience, operational excellence, and risk management. This role partners across Product, Sales, Risk, Finance, Operations, Controls, and Technology to analyze business performance, execute key initiatives, and support the development and enhancement of lending products. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders.

As an Associate Product Manager in Business Banking Wholesale General Manager Team, you will play a key role supporting the strategy, performance, and execution of Wholesale Lending products. This position offers broad exposure to product management, business strategy, financial performance, risk governance, and executive decision-making.

You  will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, monitor business performance, support product enhancements, and deliver solutions that improve client outcomes while balancing risk and profitability objectives. The role is ideal for a highly motivated professional looking to deepen product management expertise and gain experience working across a large, matrixed organization.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work directly on strategic priorities for a significant lending business, gain visibility with senior leadership, and develop the skills required for advancement within Product Management. Successful candidates will build expertise across product strategy, business performance, governance, and enterprise stakeholder management while helping shape the future of the lending franchise.

Job responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve client experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.
  • Support execution of product strategies and growth initiatives across the lending portfolio.
  • Analyze product performance, financial results, portfolio trends, and key business metrics.
  • Develop executive presentations, business reviews, and management reporting for senior leadership.
  • Partner with Sales, Risk, Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Controls teams to implement product enhancements and strategic priorities.
  • Support product governance activities, risk assessments, control execution, and regulatory initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and track progress against key milestones.
  • Conduct competitive, market, and client analysis to inform product decisions and strategic planning.
  • Support development of business cases, investment proposals, and product roadmap priorities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
