Senior Engineer, Product Applications
The Product Applications Engineer will support the evaluation, characterization, validation, and customer enablement of Analog Devices' mixed-signal semiconductor solutions. Working closely with Design, Systems, Product Marketing, and Customer teams, the engineer will develop reference designs, create technical collateral, investigate product and customer issues, and deliver system-level application support.
The ideal candidate combines strong hardware and software skills with hands-on laboratory experience and the ability to independently solve complex technical challenges while contributing to product success and customer satisfaction.
Key Qualifications
• M.S./M.Tech./B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of mixed-signal systems, embedded systems, data converters, power electronics, or industrial measurement applications.
• Proficiency in C and Python.
• Hands-on experience in hardware design, development, debugging, validation, and system bring-up.
• Familiarity with laboratory test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, SMUs, power analyzers, and electronic loads.
• Experience in product characterization, performance evaluation, and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of ARM microcontroller and communication interfaces such as SPI, I²C, and UART.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in English.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, characterize, and validate semiconductor products and reference platforms.
