We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing Mix Analyst (m/f/d) to take ownership of our marketing analytics framework and help us make data-informed decisions to optimize marketing efficiency and ROI across multiple channels. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical and technical skills who is passionate about developing and maintaining sophisticated marketing attribution and mix modeling approaches. 

What you will do: 

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to define requirements and provide insights into key performance metrics, such as Cost Per New User, Cost Per Lead, CLV, and ROI.
  • Utilize your expertise in marketing attribution, applying models like First-Touch, Last-Touch, Linear, Time-Decay, and Data-Driven Attribution (DDA) to evaluate multi-channel marketing efforts.
  • Build or refine marketing attribution models and develop Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) approaches to assess ROI across online and offline channels, including TV, print, and digital marketing.
  • Analyze marketing spend through spend models, recommending efficient budget allocations to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to enhance modeling techniques and address complex marketing problems using hierarchical and probabilistic methods.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics from advertising and martech platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and Criteo, integrating their tracking and reporting methods.
  • Lead A/B testing initiatives, providing rigorous analysis and recommendations based on experimental results.
  • Develop and maintain efficient ETL pipelines and work on data modelling for marketing in our Data Lake.
  • Build and maintain robust dashboards in the BI tool to monitor and improve marketing efficiency, incorporating automations and alerts to catch trends and anomalies early. 

What you will bring: 

  • A data enthusiast with 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing data engineering, or a related role.
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced in building data pipelines and ELT workflows with tools like Airflow and dbt.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud-based databases like Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery, and skilled in optimizing code for big data.
  • Expertise in marketing attribution and mix modeling techniques, with hands-on experience applying various models for multi-channel analysis.
  • Familiarity with advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, Criteo) and their tracking and reporting methods.
  • Strong understanding of marketing efficiency metrics, including CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, and ROI.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a proven ability to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Advanced statistical modeling skills, including regression and Bayesian models, are a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
