The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing and for our Biologics organization, we are currently looking for a Senior Process Operator. Lonza has a strong track record in the manufacturing of BioConjugates from early clinical to large scale commercial supplies. Our dedicated Protein Conjugation Plant facility (PCP) is recognized as a center of excellence for Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) as well as other classes of BioConjugates. We are experiencing an increased demand in this area and as part of Lonza’s Ibex® Dedicate model, new BioConjugation suites were built out within a pre-existing shell.
In this position as Senior Process Operator, you will make a difference by supporting production operations, assisting with technical maintenance of equipment, and contributing to process-related daily tasks. Become part of this exciting opportunity and apply now!

What you'll do:
Perform duties as an Operator according to WIZU CHVI-185490
Act as a project-based team member in accordance with CHVI-170786
Support production by covering workload peaks and ensuring smooth operations
Operate equipment during highly complex process steps as a subject matter expert in collaboration with the shift team
Provide specific support to the shift team at any time (e.g., end fill, complex procedures)
Execute special assignments from project teams and technical departments
Offer general support to equipment teams, technical services, and support functions
Assist shift teams during extended downtimes
Conduct training and instruction sessions for team members
Serve as a temporary Equipment Supervisor when needed
What we're looking for:
Solid technical knowledge and expertise with proven experience in production operations and equipment handling preferred
Willingness to work flexible hours under GP1 day shift schedule
Personal flexibility to adapt to changing work demands
Commitment to continuous development in new equipment and technologies
High resilience and ability to perform under pressure
Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
Proficiency in English required; German is a plus
