  • Perform process static and dynamic analyses including sensitivity studies
  • Evaluate technologies and strategies to improve performance and operability and reduce cost
  • Establish factory acceptance and site acceptance procedures, including commissioning support
  • Create component specifications (RFQs), select parts, and contact vendors
  • Lead hazard analysis on systems (FMEA, HAZOP, etc.)
  • Support root cause analyses of failure modes
  • Provide training and direction to employees, co-ops, customers, and contractors

The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with 5-8 years of experience
  • Desired experience in complex process/piping system design for capital projects
  • Desired experience in large industrial scale equipment (e.g. oil & gas, chemical processing, separation processes)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to approach new problems with creativity
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; Able to clearly express and critique ideas
  • Some travel (up to 20%) may be required
  • U.S. Work authorization is required for this role.

We Offer:
