Your Team
The Technology Risk Management team is a forward-thinking, high-impact team at the heart of safeguarding the organization's technology landscape. Our mission is to anticipate, assess, and manage risk before it becomes an issue. We don’t just react to change; we engineer resilience.
Our team is responsible for designing and evolving a robust risk management framework that enables proactive risk identification, early and comprehensive assessments, and continuous monitoring through intelligent analytics and meaningful KRIs. We govern risk response and remediation with precision, ensuring that controls are not only effective but continuously improved and stress-tested.
We are also champions of culture—engaging stakeholders, delivering impactful training, and building a community of best practice across Technology & Operations. We ensure that risk data is accurate, actionable, and unified, enabling confident decision-making at every level.
If you're passionate about making risk management smarter, faster, and more embedded in how technology delivers value, this is the team for you.
Your Role
As Senior Principal Architect – Technology Risk Assurance, you will lead architecture based technical risk assessments across high-impact platforms and applications, focusing on lifecycle exposures such as end-of-life (EOL), end-of-support (EOS), and end-of-extended-support (EOES). You will dissect solution architectures, infrastructure stacks, and vendor integrations to identify systemic weaknesses and architect remediation strategies that are resilient, scalable, and risk aligned.
This role demands architectural mastery, infrastructure depth, and the ability to translate risk signals into actionable design patterns. You will shape how the enterprise manages technical debt, legacy exposure, and lifecycle vulnerabilities—working closely with the Head of Technology Risk Management and enterprise architecture leadership.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Architect and lead deep-dive assessments of EOL/EOS/EOES risks across enterprise platforms and applications.
Model dependencies across the full stack, application, middleware, infrastructure, and vendor layers using architectural tools and frameworks.
Identify unsupported components, architectural drift, and latent vulnerabilities that compromise operational integrity or security posture.
Partner with domain architects, engineering leads, infrastructure SMEs, and vendor architects to validate lifecycle exposure and co-design remediation blueprints.
Facilitate architecture workshops to align on modernization paths, technical feasibility, and risk mitigation strategies.
Translate risk findings into architecture decisions, solution designs, and technical requirements.
Architect remediation solutions working with the solution / enterprise architects that address lifecycle risks while optimizing for resilience, scalability, and compliance.
Evaluate upgrade paths, re-platforming options, and decommissioning strategies through an architectural lens.
Ensure remediation plans are embedded into enterprise architecture roadmaps and delivery pipelines.
Design governance mechanisms to monitor lifecycle risk posture and remediation progress across architecture domains.
Embed architectural guardrails and technical controls to prevent recurrence of unsupported technologies and unmanaged dependencies.
Contribute to architecture review boards and risk governance forums.
Build architecture-centric dashboards and reporting frameworks that visualize lifecycle risk exposure, remediation status, and architectural health.
Provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders, architecture councils, and risk committees.
Identify opportunities to enhance architecture tooling, metrics, and automation for lifecycle risk detection and remediation tracking.
Contribute to the evolution of enterprise architecture and technical risk assurance practices.
The Experience You Bring:
7+ years in enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, or technology risk within a regulated, complex environment.
Deep expertise in application lifecycle management, legacy modernization, and architectural risk modeling.
Proven experience conducting EOL/EOS/EOES assessments and driving remediation across heterogeneous technology stacks.
Strong proficiency in architectural modeling (e.g., ArchiMate, UML), dependency mapping, and risk analytics.
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure), hybrid environments, and vendor lifecycle governance.
Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Consulting mindset with a focus on sustainable remediation and long-term architectural integrity.
