This position is based in New York City and candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance, as this role requires on-site presence at least three days per week .This hybrid approach enables us to build a collaborative and innovative work environment while maintaining the flexibility that supports both productivity and work-life balance. Overview: As a Senior Pricing Specialist at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify pricing opportunities through deep dives into Business Units, including new acquisitions. 

  • Partner with management and sales team to provide and present pricing analysis, compile data, and execute key pricing analyses. 

  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to understand how current pricing model compares against competitors in the industry 

  • Evaluate strategic opportunities and prioritize them with the Head of Pricing based on potential benefits and implementation requirements. 

  • Drive the successful implementation of pricing initiatives by planning and executing all aspects of operationalization with key stakeholders. 

  • Conduct annual reviews of price books and recommend modifications to list price structures and levels. 

  • Support the implementation of best practice pricing approaches and facilitate knowledge sharing across the group. 

  • Determine appropriate packaging and prices for new products, including conducting market research and collaborating with product and marketing teams. 

  • Lead regular pricing reporting meetings, design pricing dashboards with the Data team, monitor key pricing indicators, and compile reports to communicate findings to senior stakeholders. 

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, finance systems). 

  • Lead Generative AI initiatives within the pricing function to improve efficiency, automate insight generation, and identify optimization opportunities across pricing, discounting, and margin management. 

  • Assist with board level, leadership level reporting and  

  • Support board and executive leadership reporting by developing clear, insight-driven analyses and materials that inform strategic pricing and commercial decisions 

Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, technology, and/or pricing, with a focus on hyper-growth, equity-backed SaaS companies 

  • Strong analytical skills and highly numerate 

  • Effective communication skills 

  • A keen interest in pricing is essential 

  • Experience in working in teams, and a desire to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders of different seniority across group and individual business units 

  • Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to solving problems and driving progress 

  • Good ability to manage a workload spread across a variety of projects and workstreams, and prioritize key actions 

  • Preferred locations New York City

Pay Transparency Notice for Location New York City Applicants:

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation is determined by factors including education, work experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications. Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company contribution, and incentive and recognition programs. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
