About the role:

The FIS Platforms mission is to become the global platform that enables everyone to imagine, create, and monetize financial services. As a Senior Pricing Analyst on the Deal Desk team, you will play a pivotal role in the deal pipeline driving profitable growth through deal modeling and pricing, enhancing data transparency, and simplifying the deal experience for our cross-functional partners. Whether supporting our product and strategy teams to determine optimal pricing strategies for Go-To-Market success, working closely with sales to price and win a deal, or helping finance deliver on their revenue and margin objectives, the pricing team is at the heart of our commercial and financial objectives.
 

What you will be doing:

  • Develops financial models and pricing recommendations that balance profitability with portfolio growth
  • Provides commercial thought leadership and serve as a trusted advisor among cross-functional partners
  • Identifies and executes opportunities to improve models and processes through robust analytics and tools
  • Strengthens our pricing proposals based on win/loss feedback
  • Supports new pricing tools through testing and utilization
  • Reviews pricing proposals for quality assurance based on department standards related to discounts and credits
  • Trains organization on new processes and ensure adherence to deal governance
     

What you will need:

  • 3 - 4+ years of analytical and/or pricing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or another quantitative field
  • Financial Services/FinTech Industry experience preferred
  • An understanding of payments products & technology is strongly preferred
  • Deal Desk experience is a plus
  • A sound knowledge of pricing: cost-plus, competitive, and value-based pricing approaches
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail/accuracy
  • Advanced skills in Excel preferred
  • Capability to change priorities when circumstances dictate and to adapt toward tight deadlines in fast-paced and complex work environment
  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Experience managing and building cross-functional relationships
  • A willingness to challenge the status-quo with a bias for action
  • This position is an office-hybrid role based in New York City, Seattle, Jacksonville, Atlanta, or Milwaukee

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $89,180.00 - $149,820.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
