Position SummaryWe are seeking a Power Platform Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and experience integrating Generative AI capabilities to deliver business-ready apps and solutions. The role requires a builder mindset, rapid learning ability, and the aptitude to prototype, harden, and deploy scalable GenAI-enabled applications on Microsoft Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, test, and deploy Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) with strong UX, performance, and maintainability.
- Build solutions on Dataverse (tables, relationships, security roles) and implement ALM using solutions, environment variables, and release processes.
- Automate workflows using Power Automate and integrate with Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party systems via connectors, custom connectors, and REST APIs.
- Integrate GenAI capabilities (e.g., Azure OpenAI / LLM APIs) into apps for conversational experiences, content generation, summarization, and intelligent automation—while applying responsible AI and security best practices.
- Rapidly prototype GenAI-enabled apps, validate with stakeholders, and iterate to production-grade, scalable implementations.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and support apps in production; document solutions and share reusable components/patterns.
- Strong hands-on experience developing Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) end-to-end (requirements, build, testing, deployment, support) utilizing SharePoint as a primary data source.
- Solid experience with Dataverse data modeling, security roles, and solution-based ALM across environments.
- Experience integrating GenAI/LLM capabilities into apps and workflows (e.g., Azure OpenAI or other LLM APIs), including prompt design and grounding patterns as applicable.
- Ability to learn quickly, prototype rapidly, and productionize scalable GenAI app experiences on Power Platform.
- Experience integrating APIs (REST/JSON), creating/using connectors, and implementing automations with Power Automate.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder collaboration; good documentation and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic to intermediate Python skills; ability to build small services/utilities to support Power Platform solutions.
- Streamlit experience for rapid GenAI prototypes and internal tools.
- Familiarity with GenAI concepts such as embeddings, vector search, RAG, evaluation, and responsible AI/safety practices.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or Power Pages.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100/PL-200/PL-400) or Azure AI/Azure fundamentals.
