Senior Platform Engineer (Azure)

Launchpad is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud-native infrastructure. In this role, you'll drive key initiatives across Operations, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps, helping us scale platforms that are fast, resilient, and secure.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve development workflows, and champion DevSecOps from design to production.

🏡 Work mode: 100% remote

• Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with technical and business needs
• Lead platform engineering projects, ensuring clear specs, realistic timelines, and resource alignment
• Proactively identify risks and remove blockers across projects, processes, and teams
• Work closely with Software Engineers and Product to align platform capabilities with development priorities
• Refine operational processes to enhance stability, performance, and scalability
• Improve deployment automation, observability, and DevSecOps best practices
• Research, integrate, and manage tools that improve infrastructure efficiency and security
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high platform availability and resilience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud/platform engineering, with strong Azure expertise
• Proven leadership delivering scalable infrastructure solutions
• Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and PowerShell
• Strong understanding of both relational (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and secure release processes
• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and agile project management
• Ability to drive both short- and long-term engineering objectives
• Clear communicator, capable of aligning technical vision with business goals
• Strong problem-solving skills and autonomy in fast-paced settings
