Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Manager - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of site planning for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and workflow efficiency
  • Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery
  • Implement and manage project control systems to monitor progress, costs, and quality
  • Provide regular status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve planning-related issues and ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements
  • Utilize advanced planning tools and techniques to optimize site logistics and workflow
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential bottlenecks or challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in site planning or construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with resource allocation and optimization techniques
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, budgeting, and cost control in large-scale projects
  • Excellent understanding of construction industry regulations and best practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in site logistics and workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with environmental and safety compliance requirements in the construction industry
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
  • Experience working in the Middle East construction industry is a plus
