The Senior Planning Engineer will manage project schedules for EP or EPC gas treatment units, coordinating with teams and ensuring progress updates to meet deadlines.

We are currently looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to take over planning of EP or EPC projects for gas treatment units with average duration of 3 years and budget ranging 50-500M Euros.
The main tasks and duties are:
- Ability to
prepare the baseline of a project schedule and progress measurement sheets: Use
the Work Breakdown Structure of the Group
- Ensure that
all the activities including those from the customer and other stakeholders are
presented
- Coordinate
with Disciplines to ensure proper dates, duration, links and weight
- Analyze the
critical path (or close to be critical paths) and work with PM to improve and
mitigate schedule risk
- Coordinate
with project team and discipline team
- Work in
close relation with Project Engineer
- Participate to projects reviews and
coordination meetings of the project
- On a
monthly basis, update the schedule and progress measurement sheets as per
actual progress and realistic forecast
- Do the
progress analysis (late tasks and coming weeks/look-ahead tasks)
- Propose
corrective measures to improve the situation
- Assist in
the planning of project execution and in the control of the project to meet the
requirements in terms of time deadlines, and progress.
- Support
Project Manager in the Project Execution Strategy decisions
- Structure all
activities from start of work to the end of project.
- Provide
transparency regarding time deadlines and progress.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience on large industrial EPC Projects
- Good knowledge of Primavera P6 (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of Engineering development (P&ID reading, 3D Model needed inputs, E&I cycles, etc…)
- Past Experience in chemical / Oil&Gas / Energy industry is expected
- Fluent in English
- Proactivity, very good communication, curiosity
Skills Required
